Our Practice

"Starting a party is not a form-filling exercise — it is the architecture of a movement. We build that architecture with you, rigorously, lawfully, and in a way that survives its first contested election."

— Senior Partner, Civitas Advisors

How we work

Four phases from founders'
meeting to recognised party.

Every engagement runs on a structured plan — discovery, drafting, filing, and post-registration compliance — with fixed deliverables and clear partner accountability at each phase.

01

Discovery & Strategy

We map your founders, objectives, and political positioning, then design a registration strategy tailored to your jurisdiction.

02

Drafting & Organising

We draft your constitution, manifesto, and founders' resolution, and help organise the member rolls and district presence required.

03

Filing the Application

Our advisors prepare and lodge Form PPR-1 with the Registrar, manage correspondence, and track your application end-to-end.

04

Notice, Objections & Compliance

We respond to public objections, attend hearings, and set up the governance and reporting systems you'll need post-registration.

Who we work with

Founders who are serious about building a party.

We accept a limited number of founder mandates each cycle. Engagements typically begin where one or more of the following is true.

  • §A founding group of 5–25 people aligned on a political programme
  • §A draft manifesto or platform that needs legal structuring
  • §An existing civic movement converting into a registered party
  • §A regional party seeking national registration
  • §A coalition or merger requiring a new legal entity
  • §Post-registration governance, reporting, or symbol disputes
